She's good at what she does. She's not gonna tip-toe around your feelings, but she's fair. Anything she asks you to do, she'll have a reason.

[He thinks that over, trying to tell how honest that evaluation is.]

I don't think anyone bothers to hide shit up here to begin with. [ except for gunrunning outlaws ] She knows her shit, and far as I know she doesn't throw people in the brig unless they're trying to kill someone else. It's better than most cops, you get me?

He has problem with pretty much everyone on that side of the law, though currently his encounter with a certain federal agent is what smarts the most. Coming to the Tranquility straight from Alcatraz doesn't help.]
