Here's where your character can contact Firo if need be. Please specify the game; the date (or general time); and whether the meeting is action, voice, video, text, etc.
[Soon after their arrival, Firo easily adjusted to the network not working, to the point where he barely paid attention to his watch at all. This kind of technology hadn't existed back home for him, so it was easy to fall back into acting like it wasn't even there. It would've been a relief, if not for all the friends he had no way of contacting.
And so he spends the first month or so in Akvos agonizing over the friends who aren't with him but largely ignoring the watch save for a few attempts at texting people--texts that sometimes go through and sometimes don't, with frustrating randomness.
And so, once the network is running again, when he finally consults the watch again to see all the messages he's racked up, he can hardly reply fast enough. He could almost jump for joy, even if some of the messages nearly give him a heart attack.]
Daylight?! You're okay--Wait, wait a minute, jail?
[Fresh out of Alcatraz himself, it's not like he can judge. And he wouldn't! It's just that of all his friends, Daylight is one of the ones he'd most fear being incarcerated.]
Er... Hi! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
[ daylight has the decency to sound sheepish, at least. ]
Um... I can explain that message, I swear. [ he tries to stop himself from adding that he had already explained it, but the dumb device is not sending out all of his messages.
it's kind of driving him nuts, honestly. could it get anymore embarrassing for him? ]

Hello! :D
Yeah? 'Cause whatever explanation you've got, I'd love to hear it.
